I had some artwork that I had made for @darkmatter and so I quickly made a concept sketch of a minibadge and he wanted them made so I finished the design and got them ordered. It uses a 555 timer on the back to create a constant pulse and a decade counter to advance the output by one pin every time that it received a pulse. This way I could make a really cool badge that did stuff but keep the bill of materials very low in price.
