This 3D printer is based on the 3DPrintMi reprap 3D printer. All the white components I 3D printed on a different printer and then assembled it using an Arduino based shield called the RAMPS board. I decided on running the open source software Marlin to control everything. It printed a nice Benchy pain test, but sadly I didn't have surge protection on the power supply and it got fried, so I built an atx adapter for powering it so i wouldn't have to gut another power supply. By the time it was working some of the PLA joints were breaking from stress and some of the electronics were fried when the power supply died. It was looking pretty expensive to fix it so I scraped this project in favor of of an Ender 3.
