This was my first attempt at making my own PCB. It uses an RTC unit with a battery so even when the
Arduino board loses power it will continue to keep accurate time. It also has a photo resistor in it
so it wouldn't be too bright during the night or to dim during the day.
Before decommissioning this project, I updated it to run on ESPHome so I could display Home Assistant notifications on it.
I've since replaced it with a 32x64 Hub75 full color matrix. I'm almost done with a fame and case for it to make it look nice mounted on the wall.
