As my second project I tested using both digital and analog inputs. It would change colors depending on the temperature and when the button was pressed it would switch back to the program from the my first project which was a mesmerizing gradient pattern.
I also made a more compact version of this in 2017 for my Saintcon HHV minibadge using an ATtiny85 and a neopixel.
